Keep Your Password and Login Info Safe!!!

Can’t you people play nice?!?!!!! I leave my blog for a short time and all chaos breaks loose. I can not believe some people… no matter how young you are… would be stupid enough to give your login info, and password to anyone asking for it. Although, someone my age even left her birthday in the comments along with her password. Sheeze! Do not under any circumstances leave your password out in a public place!

Go now… CHANGE YOUR PASSWORDS. Although, I honestly belive it is to late for you. Don’t do it again!

No wonder people have their accounts hacked all the time.

Read my post about what to do if you have been hacked. If you have been robbed report it to Zynga. My instructional post gives clear instructions.

DO NOT POST YOUR PASSWORD TO THIS BLOG IN THE COMMENTS.

I’m adding another important warning:

Do NOT send your login information and/or password to ANYONE who contacts you asking for your login information.

Let me repeat myself…. Do NOT give your password out to anyone. The good people at Zynga do NOT need your password to help you with this problem. If anyone asks for your password, they are scamming you! You will be hacked if you share your password in public places. You will be hacked if you email your password to anyone. Especially anyone with a gmail, hotmail, funmail, yahoo, live.com email account. They are NOT your friend. They are hackers. And they prey on people willing to share the info.

I apologize for the lack of attention I have been giving to this blog and for the comments section. I scanned through the comments looking for the hackers posts. I may have missed some. If you believe I missed a comment I should delete, please feel free to leave me a message. Thank you.

No One needs your password…. Not EVER. NEVER. Keep your password to yourself.

Keep your password a secret (share it with your mom or your husband/wife) But keep it a secret from everyone on the internet!!!

If You Have Been Robbed Report It

If you have been robbed in Yoville, take note of the date and time. Send all of your information to the good people at Zanga. You can contact Zynga here: Contact Zynga

Here is the email address I sent my information to: support@yoville.com

Do not spam them with a bunch of emails. They will ban you from the game. Send one email. Include:

your real name
your yoville name
your myspace ID number – not your profile name. Find the profile numbers by logging into myspace, then click on the profile link. They need the profile numbers, but you can send the entire URL.
Facebook users – I don’t know what information they need from you, other than your real name.
The date and time you were robbed or scammed. Be sure to send them your time zone.
Try to list the items taken from your account.
Be Honest.

It might take a few days for the support team to send you an email. Follow the directions in the email. Do not continue to bug them with “I’ve been robbed’ email messages. This clogs up the system, and slows down the process.

Do NOT give your password out to anyone. The good people at Zynga do not need your password to help you with this problem. If anyone asks for your password, they are scamming you!

I’ve Been Robbed – Hacked

Imagine my surprise this morning, when I walked into my Yoville apartment to find I have been robbed. They took my yocoins and a lot of my furniture and big rugs.

Hacked.

I changed my password for myspace. I doubt it has anything to do with my password though. I checked a forum, and several others were hacked, but the robbers were taking rare and unusual items, not the normal furniture.

It makes me mad.

Robbed. Hacked. Whatever.

My goal for this game was to see how nice a place I could make without spending any real cash. Well, my YoVille apartment was pretty nice and I’ve only been playing the game for one month. I was starting to save my free yocoins so I could buy a small home, other than my apartment.

I emailed support for YoVille. Since so many have been hacked in the past couple days, I imagine it will take awhile before I hear anything from them. I wonder if they will give my stuff back to me.

I don’t play monopoly or risk with cheaters. I shouldn’t have to deal with cheaters in an online game. It just makes me so mad.

Don’t flame me. I know it’s free stuff. I know it’s just a game. But it was my free stuff. It was my home in the game.
